Although I vote for mostly Democrat and Independent candidate, I do not belong to a specific party. I vote for the people I feel will stand up for (what I consider to be obvious) rights of every person that they represent.
I voted for Obama, and although I do not think he has done all he has wanted to do within office, I think he has started off well and I plan to vote for him in the fall election. I feel one of the accomplishments of our government of late is the healthcare reform, specifically for women's health. I do think that it lacked the punch that it should of had, with say a public option, but there are some VERY good points that the new reform puts into place.
